How to play Ultimate Texas Hold’em – Ultimate Texas hold’em is played at every casino around the US. This game is very similar to regular Texas hold’em but instead if trying to defeat the other players you are trying to defeat the dealer like other casino games. Ultimate Texas hold’em is played with a single deck. UTH has three betting options that the player needs to be aware of. The ANTE, BLIND, and the TRIPS BET.
How to play Ultimate Texas Hold’em
The player must make a bet on the ANTE which also has to equal the blind bet automatically. The optional bet is the TRIPS BET which pays out if the player hits trips or better no matter what the dealer hits. Once bets are placed the dealer gives out two cards to everyone including himself and you may look at your two cards. If you believe you have better hand than the dealer or have a good chance of hitting a hand. Then you may place a bet on the PLAY BET before the FLOP. This bet must be 3x or 4x the size the ANTE. NOTE – Hands like SUITED CARDS, SUITED CONNECTORS, ROYAL CARDS, and an ACE have a better chance of beating the dealer. If the player does not like their cards then they may check and allow the dealer to flip the TURN CARD over.

The player then has another option to either check or bet. If the player has made a hand they are likely to bet on the PLAY BET, but this time the bet can only be 2x the ANTE. The player can check one more time and allow the dealer to flip over the RIVER CARD. Now the player has two options either place a bet on the PLAY BET. Which can only be the same amount as the ANTE this time. If the player did not hit a hand or does not have any high cards. They may fold losing their ANTE and their BLIND.
How to play Ultimate Texas Hold’em
The Dealer and everyone then flips over their cards and reveals if they have beaten the dealer. Then seeing what the payouts are on their hand. The dealer must have a pair to open. If the dealer does not have a pair the player automatically wins if they did not fold. The payouts only apply if the dealer has been beaten by your hand. The only bet that doesn’t apply to is the TRIP BET.

ANTE – the starting bet that has to have chips on it to play
BLIND – this bet equals the ante simultaneously
TRIPS BET – A bet that has its own separate payouts and the dealer’s hand does not effect the payouts
PLAY BET – A bet that changes with each community card that is flipped over and allows the player to bet that their hand is better than the dealers
SUITED CARDS – cards with the same symbol
SUITED CONNECTORS – cards with the same symbol and are consecutive. EX: 56,78,23,JQ
ACE – The highest and lowest card either 1 or above the king
ROYAL CARDS – cards that are Jack, queen, king, ace.
TURN CARD – the 4th card that is flipped over in the community
RIVER CARD – the 5th and final card that is flipped over that is in the community
FLOP – the three community cards that the dealer flips over after first bets are placed
