Roulette can be a simple game. The basic Roulette strategy card is to stay on the bets that have a high probability to HIT. Looking at the chart below you can see that the bets that pay 1:1 have the highest chance of winning, compared to the other bets. That doesn’t mean do not bet the other bets. The HOUSE EDGE is what is important on this chart. If playing a basic strategy then in the long run the house should always win by 5%.

Basic Roulette Strategy card

If playing the sprint and not the marathon then the house can be beat. When playing the DOZENS, COLOR, and the EVEN/ODD bets. The house can be beaten in a short amount of time if you are correct on your bets. Most bets are based on luck if following a basic strategy and if you can hit a HOT STREAK then your bankroll could get a a lot bigger.

HIT – A term that means your bet won.

DOZEN BET – A bet that pays 2:1 and you are betting on 1-12, 13-24, or 25-36.

HOUSE EDGE – A certain percentage for each game or bet that shows how often the house should win against the player.

COLOR BET – A bet that the player puts on red or black.

EVEN/ODD BET – A bet that the player puts on even or odd.

HOT STREAK – A term that casinos use to identify a player that can not lose and is on a winning streak.
